How It Works
What is Savings Catcher Beta?
At Walmart, we bring you low prices everyday on everything. If a local competitor offers a lower advertised price on an item you purchased, we have a new program, Savings Catcher, which allows you to get the difference back on a Walmart Rewards eGift card.
Here’s how it works:
Enter the TC Number located near the bottom of your Walmart receipt into Savings Catcher at www.walmart.com/savingscatcher or scan the barcode at the bottom of the receipt using the scanner on the Walmart app.
Savings Catcher compares the prices of the items you bought at Walmart to the advertised prices at the time of your purchase from the print and online versions of weekly print ads of top retailers in your area.
If Savings Catcher finds an advertised price that is lower than what you paid for the same exact item at Walmart, you can get a Walmart Rewards eGift Card for the difference.
